The President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Her Excellency Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, has praised the Agricultural Development Bank of Tanzania (TADB) for its excellent work and urged it to continue empowering the ‘Building a Better Tomorrow’ (BBT) youth agribusiness program by providing its participants with agricultural tools and equipment for a continuous period of three years.
President Samia expressed her appreciation during an inspection of agricultural tools and equipment provided by TADB in Chinangali, Chamwino District, for the launch of the large-scale collective farms (block farming) under the program.
TADB has allocated more than Tsh 500 million to purchase agricultural tools and equipment for the 812 youth who have joined the program in its first phase.
