Tanzania Agricultural Development Bank Awesome Story
Tanzania Agricultural Development Bank Limited (TADB) is a state-owned development finance institution (DFI) established under the Companies Act no. 2 of 2002 and given Certificate of Incorporation no. 94075 on 26th September 2011. The key role of the bank is to be a catalyst for the delivery of short, medium, and long-term credit facilities for the development of agriculture in Tanzania. Its establishment is among the key initiatives and national goals enshrined in Vision 2025 to achieve food self-sufficiency and food security, economic development, and poverty reduction.
As part of banks mandate to catalyze agriculture in the country, The Bank has developed this platform that will enable individuals with agriculture education background or interest in agriculture to be registered in this platform. The information captured will assist the bank to locate and organize credit facilities for the interested stakeholders. Also as part of modernizing the bank and providing easy access to information to the public.
